01 — Assessments
Dynamics 365 health check, AI readiness and Azure migration assessments
Start with evidence, not assumptions. A Dynamics 365 health check, an AI readiness assessment or an Azure migration review gives you prioritised findings and a roadmap, in Arabic or English.

Why start with an assessment
Technology decisions are often made under pressure: a licence renewal is due, an upgrade is overdue or the board wants an AI plan. An assessment puts evidence in place of assumptions. It starts with the business, its priorities and constraints, then looks at the platform, the data and the people who use them.
Every assessment ends with three outputs: findings with the evidence behind them, a gap analysis against your goals and a prioritised roadmap that sets out the options and their trade-offs. It applies a principle we hold to throughout: get more from the Microsoft platforms you already own before adding more.
Choose one assessment or combine several, depending on the decision in front of you.

ERP assessment and Dynamics 365 health check
A Dynamics 365 health check reviews an ERP or CRM system that is live, struggling or due for change, whether it runs on Finance, Supply Chain, Business Central, Sales or Customer Service. Where it helps, we structure the findings around the reviews in Success by Design, Microsoft’s framework for Dynamics 365 projects, which run from the solution blueprint, through the data model, security, integration, ALM and testing, to readiness for go-live. Like those reviews, we separate what is working from risks to mitigate and issues to fix now. We look at:
- process fit: where users work around the system, and why
- customisations and extensions, and how they behave through Microsoft’s updates
- data quality, integrations and reporting
- security roles, licence use and performance
- adoption: training, ownership and support
- for Dynamics AX 2012, upgrade readiness, since Microsoft’s extended support for AX 2012 R3 ended in January 2023

Copilot and AI readiness assessment
An AI readiness assessment answers a practical question: where will AI create value in your processes, and what has to be in place before it can? We review use cases, data quality and governance, security and the people who will work with AI, and we map where you stand against the AI maturity stages in Microsoft’s Success by Design guidance, from human-first to agent-first with human oversight.
For Microsoft Copilot, formerly Microsoft 365 Copilot, readiness is concrete. Each user needs a Copilot licence, a qualifying prerequisite licence and a Microsoft Entra ID account. Copilot only surfaces data that a user already has permission to view, so oversharing in SharePoint and OneDrive comes first; Microsoft recommends SharePoint Advanced Management and Microsoft Purview to address it.
For agents built in Copilot Studio, we check language support for the features you plan to use; Microsoft lists Arabic for generative answers, orchestration and voice. Model choice belongs on the checklist too. For most commercial customers outside the EU, EFTA and the UK, Microsoft turns Anthropic’s Claude models on by default at tenant level, but for Copilot Studio a Power Platform admin must also allow them in the environment or environment group. Microsoft states that these models are currently excluded from in-country processing commitments where those apply.

Azure migration readiness assessment
Before moving servers, databases or applications to Azure, you need an inventory, a clear view of cloud readiness and a cost estimate you can trust. Azure Migrate, a free Microsoft service, discovers on-premises workloads and assesses Azure readiness, right-sizing, likely cost and the dependencies between servers. It can also build a business case that compares the total cost of ownership on-premises and on Azure.
We combine that data with the decisions a tool cannot make: which workloads to move, modernise or retire, how to meet data-residency requirements and how your landing zone, identity and governance should look. Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework gives those decisions a common structure, from strategy and planning through governance, security and day-to-day management.

Power Platform governance review
Power Apps and Power Automate spread quickly, which is both their strength and their risk. A governance review shows what exists, who owns it and which data it can reach, then sets the guardrails: an environment strategy, data policies for connectors, sharing limits and a clear route from a maker’s idea to a supported solution. Managed Environments, which Microsoft includes as an entitlement with standalone Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Pages and Dynamics 365 licences, provides several of these controls, from sharing limits and data policies to deployment pipelines.
Two changes make this timely. Microsoft no longer actively maintains the CoE Starter Kit and points customers to the Inventory, Usage, Monitor and Actions experiences in the Power Platform admin center. And Microsoft has deprecated unmanaged developer environments: existing ones are suspended from 15 December 2026 and deleted from 15 January 2027. To keep the work in one, turn on Managed Environments for it or move its solutions to another environment before 15 December 2026.

AP efficiency assessment: a free online diagnostic
If accounts payable is the pressure point, start with our AP Efficiency & Agentic AI Assessment. It is a free online diagnostic for finance leaders, available in English. You answer questions about invoice volumes, manual touches, exceptions and approval times, and receive a two-page report with your main bottleneck and a suggested first use case. No access to your ERP or financial records is needed. The suggested use case shows where AI agents, working within your approval rules, could take on routine steps.
To go further, we can review a sample of your invoices with you and look at invoice capture and accounts payable automation in Dynamics 365 Finance.

Assessments for Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar and the Gulf
We run assessments in Arabic or English, on-site or remotely, from our offices in Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia and for clients in Kuwait, the UAE and Oman. Findings take account of local requirements where they apply, such as data residency and e-invoicing. Where a finding touches a regulated area, such as personal data or financial records, we flag it for your legal and compliance teams rather than interpreting the law for you.
For government entities in Saudi Arabia, the Digital Government Authority runs the Digital Transformation Measurement (Qiyas) and announces its results. Our assessments have no official standing in that process, but the evidence they produce, such as current-state maps and gap analysis, can support an entity’s own preparation.

10 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Dynamics 365 health check cost?
It depends on scope: the apps and legal entities involved, the number of integrations and customisations and whether you need a focused review or a deep technical audit. We agree the scope and deliverables before we start, so the cost is clear up front.
How long does an assessment take?
It depends on scope and on access to people and systems. A focused review of one area is shorter than an assessment that spans ERP, data and AI. We agree the timeline with you at the start and keep the work to the questions that matter for your decision.
What do we receive at the end?
A written report with findings and the evidence behind them, a gap analysis, a prioritised roadmap and a presentation to your stakeholders. You can act on it with us, with another partner or on your own.
Do you need access to our systems?
For a health check or a governance review, read access to the relevant environments helps. It is granted on least-privilege terms and removed when we finish. Some assessments need no access at all: the AP assessment runs online without any ERP access.
Is a Copilot readiness assessment only about licences?
No. Licensing is one check. The larger questions are which data Copilot will surface, since it shows users whatever they already have permission to view, which use cases justify the investment and how agents will be governed.
Can the assessment be delivered in Arabic?
Yes. We deliver in Arabic and English, and workshops and reports can be in either language. Where Arabic matters for the solution itself, for example agents that talk to customers, we check Microsoft’s current language support for the features you plan to use.
Is this the same as Saudi Arabia’s Digital Transformation Measurement (Qiyas)?
No. Qiyas is run by the Digital Government Authority for government entities. Our assessments are independent and carry no official standing, but their findings and gap analysis can support an entity’s own preparation.
