What Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio do
Microsoft Copilot is the AI assistant built into Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. Copilot Chat comes with eligible Microsoft 365 licences and works mainly from web data and the files you add to a prompt. Microsoft 365 Copilot, sold as an add-on licence, also grounds answers in your emails, files, meetings and calendars through Microsoft Graph, and every answer stays within the permissions each user already has.
Copilot Studio is Microsoft’s low-code studio for building agents and workflows. An agent works from your instructions, uses the knowledge sources you connect and calls tools to act on your systems. You can publish it to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, your website, mobile apps and other channels. WhatsApp is the exception: Copilot Studio’s built-in WhatsApp channel stopped accepting new connections after 23 October 2026, so we plan new WhatsApp agents through another route.
For organisations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait and Oman, the questions are practical. Which processes deserve an assistant? Does it work in Arabic? Where is the data processed, and who approves what an agent does? We help you answer them before you buy more licences, so you get more from the Microsoft platforms you already own.

Copilot readiness assessment: data, permissions and use cases
Copilot can reach whatever each user can already open, so its answers are only as safe as your permissions. A Copilot readiness assessment starts there and ends with a short list of first use cases and the steps to put them live safely. It sits alongside our AI readiness, Dynamics 365 and Azure assessments.
In the assessment we review:
- Where Copilot will draw information from, and who can see what today
- Oversharing and labelling, using Microsoft’s own tools such as SharePoint Advanced Management and Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels
- Which users need the Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on licence and which can start with Copilot Chat
- Candidate processes for Copilot Studio agents, ranked by value and risk
- Data location and data movement settings for Copilot Studio and Power Platform environments
- Adoption: who will train users, support them and measure usage

Copilot Studio agents built around your processes
We design, build and govern Copilot Studio agents for employees and for customers. Each one starts with one process, one set of trusted data and one approval route, and grows once it proves useful. We pick the right engine and model for each: Copilot Studio now offers separate harnesses for reasoning-heavy work, customer conversations and rule-based dialogue, and makers can choose OpenAI models or, where your administrators allow it, Anthropic’s Claude models.
Before anything is published, we test agents against sets of real questions with Copilot Studio’s evaluations. Common types of agent:
- Employee agents that answer HR, IT, finance and policy questions from your own documents
- Customer agents on your website, in your mobile apps or in Dynamics 365 Customer Service that hand over to a person when they should
- Agents that act through Power Platform connectors, custom connectors and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, including Dynamics 365
- Workflows and agent flows with human review steps before anything is recorded, sent or approved
- Conversations in Arabic and English, with voice where it fits

Copilot in Dynamics 365 and Business Central
Copilot is built into the Dynamics 365 apps, and much of its value comes from switching on the right features and configuring them well. In the finance and operations apps it offers generative help and summaries of records such as customers, purchase orders and workflow history, and users can chat with finance and operations data. Sales and Customer Service have Copilot features of their own, and Business Central adds chat, analysis assist, autofill and bank reconciliation assist.
Microsoft is also adding agents to Dynamics 365, from account reconciliation in Finance to supplier communications in Supply Chain Management and payables in Business Central. Many are still labelled preview or production-ready preview, and availability differs by region and language, so we treat them as pilot candidates rather than fixed parts of a rollout and confirm each one for your version and licences before it goes into a plan.
As a Dynamics 365 implementation partner, we configure these features within your ERP and CRM projects, train the people who use them and keep them under review after go-live.

Arabic, data location and governance for Copilot in the Gulf and Jordan
Microsoft lists Arabic among the supported languages for Copilot Studio’s generative answers, orchestration and voice. Some features are narrower: event triggers, which start autonomous agents, are listed for English (United States) only. We check language support feature by feature and test with Arabic-speaking users before launch.
Data location needs the same care. Microsoft lists UAE North among the Azure regions where Copilot Studio stores customer data, and tenants in geographies not on that list store data in the United States. Generative AI features can also process prompts outside your region when an administrator allows data movement across regions; for environments hosted in the UAE, Microsoft names the United States as the location of the Azure OpenAI service involved. Some models, the Claude models among them, are marked cross-geo, meaning data may be processed outside your region.
We set these options with your IT, security and compliance teams and apply data policies that control which connectors and channels agents may use. Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, Copilot Studio’s default, stays switched on for employee agents. Personal data law is part of the same review: Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 and Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023, alongside any personal data rules that apply to you in Qatar, Kuwait or Oman. Your legal advisers have the final word, and we reflect their view in the Copilot settings.

Why work with ConsultTik on Copilot
ConsultTik is a Microsoft Solutions Partner with designations in Data & AI (Azure), Business Applications, Digital & App Innovation (Azure), AI Business Solutions and Cloud & AI Platforms. We are also a Microsoft reseller and developer, with 15+ years of experience and offices in Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and we serve organisations in Kuwait, the UAE and Oman. We deliver in Arabic and English.
Our approach is AI with control: AI acts within roles and approvals; people stay accountable. For Copilot, that means agents are tested before they are published, act only through the connections and roles you approve and stay under review after go-live. Our own product, DONOR 360, works the same way: AI drafts, people approve. We bring the same discipline to every Copilot rollout and every agent we build, from the first assessment to managed services with 24/7 support.
08 — How we work
How we work
Choose the first process
We start with the business, not the licences: a process where Copilot or an agent can save effort, with an owner, trusted data and a clear approval route.
Check readiness
We review permissions, oversharing, licences, environments and data location settings, and fix what would block a safe launch.
Design and build
We configure Copilot and build the agent and its connections, then write its instructions and guardrails in Arabic and English.
Test with real cases
We test against real questions and edge cases in a non-production environment, with the people who will own the process.
Launch and adopt
We train users, support them through early use and follow adoption with Microsoft’s usage reports.
Operate and grow
We monitor, secure and improve agents after go-live, then extend them to the next process where they create value.
09 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does Copilot Studio cost?
Copilot Studio is billed in Copilot Credits, which you can buy as prepaid packs, through a one-year prepurchase plan or pay-as-you-go through an Azure subscription. How many credits an agent uses depends on what it does, such as answering from knowledge sources or taking actions, and on the harness it runs on; on the GitHub Copilot harness, building and testing consume credits too, not only published use. Some agent use by Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users is not counted. We estimate consumption with you during design, using Microsoft’s agent usage estimator, rather than quoting a price before the scope is clear.
What is the difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and Copilot Studio?
Copilot Chat comes with eligible Microsoft 365 licences and works mainly from web data and the content you add to a prompt; depending on the licence, users may also get standard access to Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Microsoft 365 Copilot, sold as an add-on licence that Microsoft calls Premium, also grounds answers automatically in your emails, files, meetings and calendars through Microsoft Graph and gives priority access to the full Copilot experience in those apps. Copilot Studio is the tool for building your own agents, which can extend Copilot or run on other channels such as your website.
Do Copilot and Copilot Studio work in Arabic?
Yes, with some limits. Microsoft lists Arabic among the supported languages for Microsoft Copilot with work or school accounts, although new features may not reach every language at once. For Copilot Studio, it lists Arabic for the authoring canvas and for voice, as well as for generative answers and orchestration, so agents can talk with users in Arabic; event triggers, however, are listed for English (United States) only. For Copilot in Dynamics 365, Microsoft publishes availability by region and language, and some agent features show their summaries only when the user language is English (United States). We confirm support for each feature you plan to use and test with Arabic-speaking users before launch.
How long does a Copilot or Copilot Studio project take?
It depends on scope more than on the technology. A first agent focused on one process, with well-organised and well-permissioned content, moves quickly; a Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout across many sites with oversharing to fix, or an agent that writes to several systems, takes longer. We agree a phased plan after the readiness assessment, starting with a pilot group, and we do not promise dates before we have seen your data and permissions.
What does a Copilot readiness assessment cover?
It covers what Copilot will be able to see and do: SharePoint and Teams permissions and oversharing, sensitivity labelling, licences, Power Platform environments, data location settings and a ranked list of use cases for Copilot and Copilot Studio agents. It also covers adoption, meaning who will be trained and how usage will be measured. The output is a short, prioritised plan you can act on with us or with your own team.
Can Copilot Studio agents connect to Dynamics 365 and our other systems?
Yes. Agents can use prebuilt and custom connectors, agent flows, HTTP requests and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, within the data policies your administrators set. For Dynamics 365 finance and operations apps, Microsoft provides the Dynamics 365 ERP MCP server, which lets an agent work with data and business logic within the security role it is given. For systems without a connector, we build a custom connector or API.
Where is our data processed and stored?
It depends on where your tenant and environments are hosted and on the settings your administrators choose. Microsoft publishes the Azure regions Copilot Studio uses for each geography, including UAE North, and explains when generative AI features may process prompts in another region. We review these settings, the models you select and the channels you publish to against your policies and the personal data laws that apply in your country, and we document the result before go-live.
Can a Copilot Studio agent use Claude?
Yes, if your administrators allow it. Microsoft lists Anthropic’s Claude models among the models you can choose for a Copilot Studio agent once external models are turned on in the Power Platform admin center and Anthropic is allowed in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Outside the United States these models are marked cross-geo, so data may be processed outside your region. ConsultTik also builds AI solutions directly on Claude when that suits the task.
Should we use Power Automate or Copilot Studio?
Often both. Power Automate suits rule-based flows that run the same way every time. Copilot Studio suits conversations and work that needs judgement, such as reading a request, finding the right information and proposing an action. Its agent flows feel similar to Power Automate but run natively inside Copilot Studio, and an agent can call one as a tool. We choose per step and keep approvals with people where the risk calls for it.
Why choose ConsultTik as your Copilot Studio partner?
Copilot is only as safe as your permissions and only as useful as the systems its agents reach, and we work on both: Copilot readiness in Microsoft 365, and the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform systems behind your processes. As a Microsoft Solutions Partner with designations in Data & AI (Azure), Business Applications, Digital & App Innovation (Azure), AI Business Solutions and Cloud & AI Platforms, and as a Microsoft reseller, we can advise on licences, build the agents and support them after go-live, in Arabic and English.
