What a Microsoft Solutions Partner designation means
A Solutions Partner designation is Microsoft’s assessment of a partner, not a label a partner gives itself. Microsoft calculates a partner capability score for each solution area from data already recorded in Partner Center. For skilling, Microsoft counts certifications awarded to people linked to the partner; an exam pass or course completion on its own isn’t necessarily enough.
To qualify, a partner needs at least 70 of the 100 points available in that solution area, with points in every metric. Enrolment runs to an anniversary date, and renewal depends on qualifying again, so a designation reflects a partner’s recent record. Microsoft says the framework is meant to ensure that customers searching for partners can trust the designations. The score has three categories:
- Performance: net new customers added over the last 12 months.
- Skilling: people in the partner’s organisation with intermediate and advanced Microsoft certifications.
- Customer success: growth in customers’ use of Microsoft products, and new deployments of Microsoft workloads.

Business Applications, AI Business Solutions and Cloud & AI Platforms
Microsoft now groups its designation pathways under broader badges that follow its commercial solution areas. Qualifying for a pathway earns the badge it maps to, and the pathway names stay visible in Partner Center. The badge is how Microsoft presents those pathways externally; the way a partner qualifies for each pathway is unchanged. That is why our list names both pathways and badges.
For your project, the practical point is coverage: Business Applications is the pathway for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, while Data & AI (Azure) and Digital & App Innovation (Azure) are Azure pathways. They map to the badges as follows:
- Business Applications is a pathway under the AI Business Solutions badge.
- Data & AI (Azure) and Digital & App Innovation (Azure) are pathways under the Cloud & AI Platforms badge.

Solutions partner, Reseller, Developer and Marketplace publisher
Our partner types with Microsoft are designated Solutions partner, Reseller and Developer, and ConsultTik is also a Microsoft Marketplace publisher. Each covers a different part of the relationship:
- Solutions partner: we advise on, design, implement and support Microsoft solutions, backed by the designations above.
- Reseller: Microsoft licensing can be part of the same conversation as the solution. Which products and purchase routes are available depends on the product and your country, so we confirm the options when we scope the work.
- Developer: we build solutions on Microsoft platforms. SyncroStocks, our inventory and warehouse app, is built on Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Marketplace publisher: SyncroStocks – Inventory Management Mobile Application is listed on Microsoft Marketplace, rated 5.0. Microsoft Marketplace is the storefront in which Microsoft unified Azure Marketplace and AppSource in 2025.

What the partnership means for your project
A designation matters only if it changes how your project runs. For us it means one Microsoft relationship across the transformation lifecycle: we advise, design, implement, support adoption, operate and grow, and we get more from the Microsoft platforms you already own before adding more.
Around the same platform we set up ZATCA and other Gulf e-invoicing requirements in Dynamics 365, automate invoice capture and accounts payable, build data science models, and provide outsourcing and custom development. We deliver in Arabic and English. The platforms we work with:
- Dynamics 365 ERP: Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Project Operations and Business Central.
- Dynamics 365 CRM: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Customer Insights.
- Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate.
- Data and AI: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI and AI Builder.
- Azure: cloud foundations, migration, identity with Microsoft Entra ID, governance and security.
- Managed services: proactive monitoring, optimisation, security and 24/7 support.

How to compare Microsoft partners
If you are comparing partners by the old Gold or Silver status, note that Microsoft no longer offers Gold or Silver memberships and has asked partners to stop referring to them. The useful question today is which Solutions Partner designations a partner holds now, by name.
Lists of Microsoft partners in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Qatar are long. These questions help you compare them on what matters after go-live, and we answer each of them for your project before you commit:
- Which Solutions Partner designations does the partner hold today, and which of them cover the products in your project?
- Can the partner show its designations in Partner Center or on Microsoft’s partner directory?
- How will the partner meet local requirements, such as e-invoicing and personal-data rules, in each country you operate in?
- Can workshops, training and support run in Arabic as well as English?
- Who runs and improves the system after go-live, and how is support provided?

A Microsoft partner in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan
ConsultTik has offices in Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and serves organisations in Kuwait, the UAE and Oman from them. Each country has its own e-invoicing rules, data-protection law and cloud-region options, and our country pages set out what we take into account in each.
Projects that span several countries can share one Dynamics 365 design while each legal entity meets its own local rules. Wherever you are, you work with one accountable team, in Arabic and English, from the first decision to everyday adoption. Each office has a local phone line, listed on our Contact page.
09 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is ConsultTik a Microsoft Gold Partner?
Microsoft no longer offers Gold or Silver memberships and has asked partners to stop using those labels. Partner capability is now shown through Solutions Partner designations, and ConsultTik holds these: Data & AI (Azure), Business Applications, Digital & App Innovation (Azure), AI Business Solutions and Cloud & AI Platforms.
What is the difference between AI Business Solutions and Business Applications?
AI Business Solutions is one of Microsoft’s designation badges, and Business Applications is a pathway that rolls up to it: qualifying for the Business Applications pathway, which covers Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, earns the badge. Cloud & AI Platforms works the same way for the Azure pathways, including Data & AI (Azure) and Digital & App Innovation (Azure).
How does a partner earn a Solutions Partner designation?
Microsoft scores partners on performance, skilling and customer success, using data recorded in Partner Center. A partner needs at least 70 of 100 points in the solution area, with points in every metric, and must qualify again to renew each year.

Yes. Our Microsoft partner types are designated Solutions partner, Reseller and Developer, so licensing can be part of the same conversation as your solution. Which products and purchase routes are available depends on the product and your country, and we confirm them when we scope the work.
